Brad Mills Out Of Terrible Situation In Houston

Brad Mills was fired yesterday. Based on his departing comments, he sounds relieved he's moving on. He is going to watch his son play minor league ball and spend time with his grand-children.
He was dealt a terrible hand during his tenure. A patch work roster, an owner not commited to winning, then an ownership change promising change wasn't the most comfortable situation to be in.
Well Brad can be assured of another major league managing job in his future. He won 171 games with a lousy baseball team. He gained experience that will make him successful for his next job.
His replacement, Tony DeFrancesco was the AAA manager for the local Sacramento River Cats for many years. I feel Tony will be very successful in Houston!
